Facility Training Manual
I created this Facility Training Program as a comprehensive training in conflict resolution and the eight principles of effective intervention. Developed and designed by me, with input from subject matter experts from across the criminal justice field, this program provides staff with the necessary tools to handle any situation with confidence. This training covers the latest techniques and strategies to ensure that staff have the skills and resources they need to keep themselves, the inmates, and the facility safe.
My Work
Since beginning my journey in this field, my dedication to the work and motivation to grow have led me to exceptional projects and experiences. I’m grateful for a profession I’m passionate about, and am proud to share examples of my greatest work. Take a moment to check out my portfolio, and get in touch with any questions.
Being in the corrections field and working for a county government, as I have for the past several years, there have not been opportunities to work with many online tools. What I have had, is the opportunity to design trainings for a diverse population of adult learners. I have designs spanning a wide spectrum, from advanced concept trainings for career-long corrections professionals to a remedial mathematics course for adult learners preparing to return to college. I have relied on a foundation of adult learning principles as well as the ADDIE model to help me meet these challenges.

Veterans Upward Bound Math Course Design
The Veterans Upward Bound Mathematics course was developed to help veterans develop a strong foundation in mathematics. The course provides remedial math instruction, designed to build basic study skills and foster independent learning. It is housed on the Cuyahoga Community College Learning Management System (LMS). This course is essential for veterans who need to brush up on their math skills before furthering their education. Veterans Upward Bound Mathematics will help prepare them for college-level coursework.

Needs Analysis Example
A Needs Analysis, created through interviews with subject matter experts, is an invaluable tool for educational institutions to understand the educational needs of their students. It helps to pinpoint areas where improvement is needed and how best to allocate resources to ensure that students receive the best possible education. Through the use of this analysis, institutions can identify areas of improvement and design programs that will better meet the needs of their students.
